Numerous courses belonging to the “Entering the research community” cycle, organised as part of the doctoral college, cover open science. These courses are open to all doctoral schools and require registration.
The various topics allow for the integration of open science.

- Be open! HAL and Open Access to Publications (3 hours; in french)
- Evaluating scientific journals in the humanities, social sciences, science, technology and medicine (3 hours; in french)
- Understanding the impact factor in four points and the new ecosystem for disseminating scientific information.
About data and codes:
- How to manage your research data effectively to facilitate your research work (part of which is offered asynchronously)
- How to effectively disseminate your data at the end of your thesis (3 hours; in french)
- Learn how to integrate GDPR-compliant practices at all stages of your thesis (3 hours; in french)
- Codes and software : Best practices for management, dissemination and archiving since their creation (3 hours; in french).
We can organise customised training sessions upon request, focusing on a specific topic such as drafting a Data Management Plan, and tailored to one or more disciplines. These sessions can be arranged for a laboratory, a group of laboratories or a graduate school. To arrange this, please email sos-data@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr.
All training materials (in french) are available on e-formation (in the ‘Libraries/Doctoral Students’ section). Asynchronous modules can be accessed without logging in. However, you must log in to earn an open badge for each module.
