Based on the HAL UGA office and the Codes Data Grenoble Alpes (CDGA) Office, two local networks have been set up in the laboratories to support researchers working with HAL and data and code management.

These two networks enable members to discuss issues or difficulties encountered, share feedback, exchange best practices, disseminate legal and technical intelligence, circulate information, and express needs and expectations.

HAL UGA correspondents

Since the HAL portal opened in 2014, HAL correspondents have been responsible for supporting researchers and managing HAL collections in laboratories. Their network meets regularly in different laboratories through HAL cafés, which are organised by the HAL UGA office.

Mailing list

To subscribe to the HAL correspondents mailing list, send a message to hal-info[at]univ-grenoble-alpes.fr.

Data advisors

With regard to data management, a network of representatives has been in place since 2021 in most of the site’s laboratories. This network enables information to be relayed to researchers and questions raised by the community to be forwarded to the Codes Data Grenoble Alpes (CDGA) office. Regular meetings are organised by the office to share best practices and explore certain topics in greater depth.
